Thomas Carr and Diana "Dicey" Martin.......to date I have found marrage records for them and a reference in the book "A Pictorial History of Cabin Creek vol II by Dale Payne 2009:
Thomas Carr was born in 1788, and was the father of Ezekiel Carr, who is mentioned below. When he first came to the area of Cabin Creek is unknown. On the 16th day of September 1845, He and his wife, Diana Carr sold a tract of land to Fredrick Coon. This was land near the residence of the aforementioned Ranson Greenwood, but was now referred to as the "late" Ranson greenwood. The survey for this tract began at the "dixon ford" on Cabin Creek, apparently in reference to the above mention land of George Dixon. This tract of land contained 1500 acres more or less (kan. co. Deed bk.O pg 300)
as well as a reference in the book DeWitt County Illinois GenWeb

Thomas Carr, was born and reared in the Old Dominion, and was there married to Diana Martin, who was also of Virginian birth. They were the parents of six sons and three daughters, whom they called Mary, John K., James, Elizabeth, Ezekiel, William, Marion, George and Violetta.
There is the possiblity that he is the son of Thomas Carr Sr and Jean Lewis but I have yet to connect them other than there being a grave stone along side theirs that had Thomas Carr engraved on it and the date of birth as Jun. 13, 1787 and date of death Apr. 7, 1872. I do know that Thomas died in Peytona on that date and that he was born about 1788..I've never found a complete date of birth for Thomas as of yet.

Billie, Basil and Ray are my Grandmother Bea's Brothers and I am trying to locate any information for them...I have early census's from when they were young and living at home with their parents but nothing after they reached adulthood. I have been told they all three enlisted in the military during, I think, WW2.

John Nelson born feb 1778...
Currently trying to find out who his father was..it is rumored to be Richard nelson but nothing definite regarding this..mostly speculation..I have most of Johns information from the time he was born till his death in 1871 in Meigs county Ohio..his father is my next step and proving to be a difficult one
